Can you help fix these bugs

Sorry I can't code

Can you make some quick 3d assets we're behind

Sorry I can't do 3d modelling

Can you at least UV unwrap these models for us?

Sorry I can't do 3d modelling

Can you work on some of the GUI or 2d artwork?

Sorry I can't do interface and I'm not an artist. Oh I'm the writer I just come up with ideas and everyone else is supposed to do them for me. Why am I being bullied?!?

They targeted gamers.

Gamers.

We're a group of people who will sit for hours, days, even weeks on end performing some of the hardest, most mentally demanding tasks. Over, and over, and over all for nothing more than a little digital token saying we did.

We'll punish our selfs doing things others would consider torture, because we think it's fun.

We'll spend most if not all of our free time min maxing the stats of a fictional character all to draw out a single extra point of damage per second.

Many of us have made careers out of doing just these things: slogging through the grind, all day, the same quests over and over, hundreds of times to the point where we know evety little detail such that some have attained such gamer nirvana that they can literally play these games blindfolded.

Do these people have any idea how many controllers have been smashed, systems over heated, disks and carts destroyed 8n frustration? All to latter be referred to as bragging rights?

These people honestly think this is a battle they can win? They take our media? We're already building a new one without them. They take our devs? Gamers aren't shy about throwing their money else where, or even making the games our selves. They think calling us racist, mysoginistic, rape apologists is going to change us? We've been called worse things by prepubescent 10 year olds with a shitty head set. They picked a fight against a group that's already grown desensitized to their strategies and methods. Who enjoy the battle of attrition they've threatened us with. Who take it as a challange when they tell us we no longer matter. Our obsession with proving we can after being told we can't is so deeply ingrained from years of dealing with big brothers/sisters and friends laughing at how pathetic we used to be that proving you people wrong has become a very real need; a honed reflex.

Gamers are competative, hard core, by nature. We love a challange. The worst thing you did in all of this was to challange us. You're not special, you're not original, you're not the first; this is just another boss fight.

Wtf is a game writer? They mean a game developer? This shows how out of touch these heebs and their puppet are with what they're writing about.

Game writer would be someone that writes dialogue and stories for games.
Although some neofags claim that writing about trying to play the switch with a joycon up their ass makes them a game writer as well.

I’ve worked as a game dev for 30 years. Up until about 10 years ago, writing for a game was outsourced. They sent their scripts, once we had enough material, then we were done with them. Then they began hiring these people as full time staff. Writers are useful at the beginning of a project, after that they’re offsite on a retainer in case you need them for a few hours a week. Don’t need them full time, hanging around the devs.

They didn’t spend the day hunkered over a keyboard, they moved around a lot. Claimed they could write in their brain, which I can see as being true. They were a huge distraction. Never met one that wasn’t pompous. The writers would put out some material that we would start working with, and it takes a hell of a lot of people to take a script and build something out of it that you can see. Often the writers would claim to have gotten abetter idea while in traffic or on the crapper. Most of the time, it was a better idea and we would pivot if we could, but usually because of schedules and money, we had to continue with the road we were on and try to incorporate bits of the new idea. Even this would make writers sulk. They would campaign endlessly for new ideas they had come up with after they had been shot down, by pissing in everyone’s ear all day and hoping to get enough staff on their side to wear down producers and directors.

Knew a guy that had a sign on his office door with an image of Picard that read ‘Come! Unless you’re a writer.’ Was that harassment? The last thing you want to see in your doorway when you’re working overtime, is a writer. They have a lot of free time.

Do you happen to have worked on a game that I have played before? What's the most popular game you have worked on?

[–] 2 pts

I’ve said in other posts that I’m an animator. If I answered your question, some psycho could identify me.

Alright, let me try another question, have you worked on any popular game (like a AAA title) or a famous indie game, a yes or no is enough.

Define bullying.

"Get to work, goy!"

Bullied!

This. In college not wanting to share a bed with another man at a conference and since he was junior to me I told him to sleep in the chair or the floor was "hazing."

All these faggot gamers think a gust of wind is bullying.
