Can you? Does that involve cracking your Steam deck in the first place? I'm not saying they have to support it. I'm asking if they are trying to prevent it.

They have stated you can install other OS on the Steam Deck. I'm guessing they would lock you to Steam games only if you run Steam OS, but nothing prevents you from wiping the deck and do a clean install of Windows.
