It's one of my personal goats. It's extremely immersive. On the borderline of being a medieval simulator. It had a bunch of issues at launch, but all of those are fixed now.

Doom probably qualifies. The Doom slayer kills so many demons that by the third game they put fewer of them in Hell for you to fight.

Soul Reaver is based on Paradise Lost...it's beautifully voice acted albeit dated. OST is superb as well.

Been playing Persona 5, it’s thematically anti-satan/evil. You get to turn a child-molestor and other predators into blubbering guilt puddles. Though you can use named demons to fight, sooo…

Grim Dawn

Two of the enemy factions are Cthonics (literally just demons), and Aetherials (inter-dimensional ghost aliens who are also demons)
