I haven't paid for a game since the Wii. I haven't bought a console since the Wii and haven't had a console or even a TV until I got another Wii and an XBox 360 recently for around $80 for both. I'm just going to hack them and load up external storage devices with pirated games. IIRC the Xbox 360 can even play Dreamcast. JET GRIND RADIOOOOO!

Cost and the convenience of standalones. Plus there isn't a good XB360 emu out there, and Dolphin needs a pretty good GPU for Wii emu. Though I would also like a laptop that could do Wii and PS2 emu. I have a site I use for good PC pirating. I just DL'd Odallus today and I'm liking it. I need to finish that old Hitman: Codename 47 from 2001 that I started months ago, but I'm stuck at the last part of a level that I've played so many times that I'm tired of it. I guess I could just look up how to do that last part. There was one level that the environment itself was so buggy that it took me a month of playing it to finish it: the drug smuggler's camp has these guard towers with ladders and at the top of them your character may fall through the gap between the ladder and the tower cabin, and if that happens you get an instadeath.
