Plot twist: Everybody's character is a sheboon. At least that's what they see on their own screen at home. In multiplayer, you see everybody else as different characters, to maintain the illusion, but at home, on your screen, your character will always be a nigger bitch.

if you don't mind a slight hassle. make a new account and allow sharing on the PC through steam. you can play a game owned by one account on a different account. at least that's what I've done. not with rust.

this is kinda bullshit, i was considering buying this game, but yeah I dont like the idea of not getting to at least choose my gender and skin color wtf. thats dumb.

anyway the workaround is to use family sharing to create more accounts till you get one that you like...

or fuck that just dont buy the game, thats a DUMB fucking move by the dev team, because yeah if that shit happened to me I would refund and im not even racist, I just want freedom in a game I buy to choose my damn character.

Didn't they originally have it so every time you start a new game it was generated for that play through?

They should just move back to clones.

Here's what you do. Find other people who want a refund. Buy one more copy of the came in a new steam account through a vpn. Have that account say the worst racist things possible. Have multiple accounts respond that you want a refund because you couldn't have a good experience with the character made for you. Six or seven accounts go in on this scheme, you get 6/7th of your money back each.
