So, I bought Back 4 Blood for PS4 hoping for some Left 4 Dead style split screen action with my wife. I get home and look at the back of the box. No split screen, bummer, but then I see the Online Play Required box. Fuck that. I buy physical copies so I can play games way down the line in the future if I want. I don't want a fucking worthless piece of plastic sitting around in a few years, and if I wanted something digital I would have gotten it on pc.

Fuck that shit.

You actually bought that shit?

Graphics look marginally better than L4D2. Did they use the Source engine? I wouldn't pay a dime for this crap.

But then the Crysis remasters don't look very good either. I swear Crysis 1 Remastered looks worse.

I'll probably get it on steam eventually when it goes on sale.

I don't even know if I will. I refused EA's always online bullshit, and I will likely always. The only reason I can see always online is something like mmos, but, even then, I can't see paying for the game. I like Path of Exile's concept for that.

It's annoying but I'm always online anyways so Idk...

I had a spotty internet connection for the last few years, and I finally have something stable. It's annoying as hell to lose a connection to your friends while playing Monster Hunter World, but I could at least finish the missions, get my carves and continue playing the game.

I was excited then like usual, after watching the gameplay....it looks like trash and not anything like the old left4dead gameplay

Me and my wife have been scratching the splitscreen itch with Resident Evil 6. It's really good as long as your start the Leon story first. Of you guys ever want another couple to game, let us know. We play a little of everything and we use 2 PS4 to play online together.

We had played RE6 together; it was a bit shameful on their part to force the Ada story to be solo after all of that. I had heard rumor that they would add a second character for co op in Ada's story. Did that ever come to fruition?
