The combat in skyrim was so shitty compared to a game like witcher 3.
The character responsiveness to movement inputs (especially Roach) in W3 makes me want to smash my controller.
It's as if they were like "yeah this is good enough I guess"
My only reference be point was Skyrim so I was just happy to be able to dodge, roll, and spellweave in combat. I don't recall having many gripes about the controls.
Fuck man. It's bad when compared to legend of Zelda games from the N64. 20 or so years ago.
Get it together guys.
From what I understand it is because they wanted to add so much to the physics and animations that would look like shit if you made the controls as responsive as a cartoony game. Like I said I didn't notice it very much.
That's a cope. The graphics aren't any better than dark souls games which have essentially frame perfect character responsiveness.
Witcher 3's combat is total ass, it's somehow still better than Skyrim.
