so if you log into a website like Paypal (that collects all of your computers data) with a Linux distro, Paypal can't read your data?
According to the article, assuming your not using a tpm 2.0 system, no. TPM 2.0 might be enough to allow it, but from a software opening no Linux wouldn't allow it on it's own
The data collection from Paypal I'm speaking of is nothing new, it's been in place for over a decade. It has nothing to do with TPM.
There's a massive difference between logging a computers hardware profile, and "reading your data".
You shouldn't be using paypal either
What would you use as an alternative?
