I had my kickstarter code redeemed at one point, and then, IDK, I lost the account or it disappeared or something (I can't remember). Then I was asking them on email to get me back in, and I forget what they said but basically they weren't going to do it.

Beware. SC is made by trash devs. Grossly incompetent leadership and disastrous decision making coupled with horid c++ and garbage engine.
This game will always be a bug filled mess failing to deliver promised features because it's now impossible to deliver a polished finished product.
On the plus side the games artists are amazing. The eye candy is wonderful. So no need to play it. Just watch others play on YouTube with all the crashes and frustrations cut

I found it to be pretty even handed and repeatedly brought up issues of concern. Even discussed how such a project continues to get backers in spite of serious concern.
