Does anyone remember this game on either ps1, dreamcast, or ps2 that had a hexagonal playing field that had sprites on opposite sides, that when they would meet you would battle in real time, flying around in a 3d map? For the life of me i cannot remember.

I had an OG Xbox 360 and an OG (American) PS2. On the Xbox, baked the RROD away with the towel trick. Tried to mod the PS2 to play burned games and I fucked it up. Those were the last two I bought.
