This is all subjective, but controls should be a very close 2nd priority since it is intertwined with good gameplay. The importance of a good story is entirely dependent on the person since some people play for fun, others for story. For me personally a good story and characters are icing on the cake.

Graphics are absolutely up there. Try playing Valheim after the honeymoon period is over.

Dunkey's video on the ps5 and graphics is/are spot on. Sure, the PS4 can support games like last of us 2, god of war ragnarok, and RDR2, but how many ps4 releases actually look that good? So why get excited over the PS5? Minecraft has made literally BILLIONS of dollars and yet Mojang can't update java edition to support multithreading. Most modern "AAA tier" devs are fucking jokes.

Thank god for id, doing it the right way and embarrassing everyone else with the 2 doom games.

I don"t think this true at all. Graphics is the main method of communicating gameplay, controls, story, characters. The problem is AAA developers have forgoten the purpose (or never knew) of graphics. It is not only in computer games, the visual method of communicating is none existant in modern Hollywood movies.
