Global warming is a hoax. They use that narrative to push for the carbon tax. Why are they not using nuclear power if they really want to reduce carbon emission, because nuclear would replace fossils fuel completely, then they won't be making any revenue in the carbon tax. They need unreliable source of energy like solar and wind that needs natural gas or coal back up, so they can tax that.
There is no reason not to use nuclear, because you can synthesize gasoline and diesel along with lubricants with nuclear power. You use heat and raw materials and you can craft whatever organic or inorganic molecules you want. I'm well aware it's a scam I'm just throwing shade at big tech, and if you think about it, all that current they're using is probably causing those wildfires. Hot tinder near a transformer, bird shits on the transformer and the shit sparks, then smokey the bear is out there getting high as fuck from the forest that's blazing.
They can synthesize hydrogen from water using nuclear power, then hydrogen powered cars and other vehicles would be carbon free. But they are not doing any of that, that's because it's just a hoax.
