Damn it they need to let Obsidian have the rights back. Bethesda has some really neat ideas (they did power armor much better than just a suit you keep in your inventory... except for the bullshit fusion cores which worked for 15 min and completely broke cannon...)
New vegas is still great to play, but it does feel a little sparse. I'd really like to see them go back to the original idea of communities remaking themselves and rebuilding. Bethesda's fallout seems to think that people can no longer build a new house or clean up 300 year old garbage in the streets.

So many mod projects get shut down because they spend years hyping it up to get donations or just upcummies and social validation and then it gets a DMCA takedown when it's 90% complete.
just fucking work on it and release it instead of hyping it up for years, nothing ever gets taken down on the internet. While some degree of publicity might be necessary if you need to attract volunteers, don't overdo it!
