There is still a huge online community which play multiplayer. Though last I heard the new client isn't compatible with these communities. I believes there is effort to fix that but not sure where it's at.

Yeah that could be a lot of fun multi-player. I prefer tabletop roleplaying though, and those clients work pretty well. They've come a long way.

Edit: I see that it is not. AND the entire nvn series is on sale on steam for 15. So was the infinity bundle which included bg1,bg2, iwd, and planescape torment. 20 bucks instead of 110.

No. That was released after this. This is the original NWN updated for modern computers and displays and with lots of bug fixes.

Idk, I think it's still a fundamental aspect of table top gaming like DND and Pathfinder. And many modern fantasy novels have a faith component, although it's rarely monotheism.

It's a bit cucked, they threw in a "they" pronoun thing and in-universe homosexuals are normalized. They also are trying to move away from good/evil races. That being said, a good table could just ignore that shit.

They released an enhanced edition. That is the version I'm going to play through. Idk if the story, characters, and events have been altered. I'll look into it right now

The new version is just an update that makes it easier to play on modern computers, but there are fan made mods that do the same things and don't add SJW retardation on to the actual story.

I may skip it, or I may play through it and liberate every woke character from their insufferable existence.

I've been playing this a bunch lately. Got halfway through BG2 with the same character and found a fatal flaw. Had to start BG1 over with a new one. No skin off my nose. I've always loved that game. Great avatar right there.

Has to do with the stronghold you can clear out and then get weekly money from as lord of the manor. There are supposed to be regular events that progress it, but I missed something that kept one of the stages from triggering. My understanding is that if you don't advance it all the way through before the story moves you away from athkatla for a chapter or two, then when you come back you lose it. I guess there's a console command to trigger the missed event but I don't seem to be smart enough to engage the console.

Fighter/Cleric is one of the stronger classes in BG. And clerics get even more ridiculous in NWN. Don't fuck with faithman, they'll send you back packing right to your maker.

Somehow you linked directly to a bmp file instead of like an image host. It causes most people a few extra clicks to view the image, and leaves a downloaded copy on their computer. An imagehost would make a web page with the image embedded in it.
