Depends on who's running it. Amy Hennig is gone, but so are a lot of the original guys who made the series. There's always the other two titles that could scratch the itch. Negative Atmosphere by Sunscorched Studios is a blatant clone, and Callisto Protocol is being made by some of the guys from the original Visceral Studios.
