Skyrim is a great game! Wish they would come out with better AI for Civilization. Been waiting 10 years for something good and they went back in time on development

I want a decent AI for RPGs. A companion that knows when to stealth, which enemies to prioritize, when to heal, which gear to loot, and so forth. And enemies just as smart. It's 2021 and gaming AI is still in the era of "cheat your way out". Ideally I would be able to say things like "Hold this position until I get to that one badass" or "Dude. Stop picking fights with every low level prick you see"

Yes exactly. Developers are lazy and the game owners are to greedy to invest in real improvements to the game structure. Someday we will get a game engine that rocks.

If I had to guess, we are looking at another 4 to 5 years before we see another Elder Scrolls. They are still working on their space RPG, Starfield.

Red Dead was such a solid game. I'm not much a gamer so I still haven't finished it. It'll be there waiting for me next winter. I'd much prefer they wait another decade before releasing the next one. That way they can take advantage of all the new technology of the future. Arthur Morgan will probably be a non-binary Black woman but at least the graphics and environments will be solid.

And I read rumor rdr3 isn't in progress but rdr1 will be remastered and integrated with 2s online.

Last I heard it wasn't even on the table, they're making Bully 2 first. Bully needs a new engine, GTA desperately needs a new engine so it'll be a while.

Where do you want to see GTA6 based? I know they're supposed to be in America but I wouldn't mind one in Sao Paulo - the Max Payne game they did had a lot of atmosphere. You could have cartels and BOPE!
