They’re just showing off gameplay here and don’t want to spoil too much of the story. From what I understand, it’s going to have a premise similar to past Rune Factory games: you’re a man/woman who’s visiting a town on an important mission, but you somehow lose your memory in the process. The town adopts you as a new citizen and you build a new life there.

Here’s what bits and pieces I was able to gather regarding the story of RF5:

*You wake up dazed and confused, finding a citizen of Rigbath under attack by monsters.

*You save them and they take you back to town.

*As a reward for your bravery, you’re enlisted into the local milita and given a place to sleep (just until you can get back on your feet and figure out how you got here)

*You end up becoming kind of a detective that solves cases around town and uncover a weird plot that threatens the lives of everyone.

Anything more than that would be speculation on my part, but it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on. It’ll release in English sometime later this year - I’m guessing 2 more months.

I’m glad Poal is becoming a more
