In my defense I just started using this plane a couple days ago. I had been flying the Cessna 172.

Yes and yes.

I'm really enjoying it. My Hotas X arrived last week. I'm glad I picked it up, really adds to the experience.

I've been focusing on learning the Garmin 1000. I'm on my computer programing a simulated flight computer...lol. I'm totally engrossed with it.

True statement. People who only fly fixed gear aircraft aren't pilots.
