SOCIALIST FINES are excessive

In SOCIALIST HELL HOLES... a person getting a SPEEDING TICKET can owe over $100,000 if they are White and Rich, and only a woman cops word is used against you on the ticket and there is no trial for rich whites.

Ask Anssi Vanjoki !!!

Police say he was driving at 75 km/h (47 mph) in a 50km/h (31 mph) zone.

47 in a 31mph is a $103,600, instead of merely $50 as in some USA states, if you are a rich White 44 year old male, like Anssi Vanjoki

Whitey has to pay $103,600 for driving 15 over in a motorcycle!:

They wanted to charge Whitey $12.5 million for speeding 15mph over! $12.5 million for Whitey!!!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/1759791.stm

Socialists are fucking retarded.

In Canada if you were a poor muslim the government PAID YOUR annual tax for a car if its an economy car, but IF YOU ARE RICH AND WHITE in Canada, your annual registration could cost over $10,000 if it was a millionaires type sport car !!!!!!! Hurray for socialism! Tax Whitey!

Isn't that how Canada does it. I think they do 10% of your income from what I read a few years ago

[–] 0 pt

No they don't its fixed rate and its relatively inexpensive. But if you get like 3 or 4 they take your license away. https://ontariospeeding.com/speeding-ticket-penalties/speeding-ticket-fines/

Well, 2005 maxim or fhm disagrees. Idk.

That's because the point of a fine is to serve as an incentive not to break the law. What do the incentives look like if the incentive is set to be smaller for rich people? Instead of setting fines at a fixed amount some jurisdictions set it at a percent of income. If you make $50,000 a year the fine is $100, if you make $50,000,000 a year the fine is $100,000. Both are 0.2% of a person's income.

Thats a stupid point.

The rich man already pays 75% of his income a year to socialist government of finland via taxes!!!!

Do you not understand that overtaxing the producers, the job creators, causes troubles for the socialist leeches by chasing the wealth creators OUT OF THE NATION!? Onerous fines by civil servants without a jury trial right, is ALSO overtaxing the producers in socialist nation shitholes.

They flee in disgust. Then the tax base collapses.

Taxes has nothing to do with fines. If people want to flee a country because they feel like it's not fair that penalties for breaking the law should hurt them as much as it hurts any working man, then don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

Which game...? Looks familiar.

Final Fantasy Tactics. Such a good game for ps1.

No shit. The GBA version was life changing for me as a kid too but nowhere near as mature/philosophical. But for a kids game it was still pretty damn red-pilled. They didn't dumb it down so much as take it down a few gears for younger audiences.

You ever play the PSP version? It's out for mobile now too for like $1.

I loved the original FFT, but the PSP "War of the Lions" version is far superior. It uses far better translation, and the language is more appropriate for the time period setting. There is a little bit of extra content in the form of a few extra side quests and classes, but watching the story play out without the clunky dialogue from the bad PS1 translation is what really sells it for me.

The character who is saying this is Wiegraff Folles. He was from the lower class when he was called to arms by his lord, joining a shitty militia known as "The Corpse Brigade" because of the high casualty rate. He fought hard and distinguished himself, earning minor increase in class by becoming a knight.

The war he was fighting in was known as the 70 Years War, and it finally came to an end during Wiegraff's service. As peace returned, however, many of the lower classes who were forced into the fighting were not paid or compensated as they had agreed to. These veterans were cast aside, many turning to banditry and worse. Wiegraff attempted to lead a revolt against the nobility, and actually got pretty far before the revolt was eventually crushed.

Wiegraff went into hiding for a few years, grieving the loss of his sister in the failed revolt. He is eventually approached by Templar knights, who secretly have an evil agenda, and offered a station with them. He accepts it, seeing it as his chance to rise high and take revenge against the nobility, but things turn out differently.

He was a bitter man, and rightfully so- his whole life upended and ruined, fighting for a lord who he'd never even met, in a war that had began 70 years ago. And then his government failed to help the peasantry recover from the brutal effects of long term warfare, and refused to compensate thousands of their people- what do you expect to happen!?

  • Some fines exist primarily as revenue streams for local government and have no business existing for anyone, rich or poor. They typically target victimless "crimes" like not wearing a seatbelt and often have automated enforcement techniques with sketchy legality.

  • Other fines are a nuisance tax, like parking fines or littering fines. I see no problem with them being relatively low for everyone. If someone is so broke that $5 is pushing them over the edge, that sucks, but the core problem there isn't the fine.

  • Other fines exist as restorative justice: Ie. if you damage something you have to pay to fix it, or pay for the damage control. These are perfectly fine and I see no reason why anyone should be allowed to pay more or less depending on how productive they are the rest of the time. If a rich guy rear ends your shitmobile, should he have to pay you $5 million? If a broke nigger does it, should he only owe you $5?

Class is for commies. Fines exist to pay bills. Where's the money going is what you should be concerned about.

[–] 1 pt

A parking fine, for example, might help pay for more parking spots.

We know that criminals are mostly poor. Fines are only dissuasive when paying them is hard. Paying fines is hard for poor people. Yes, fines are made to stop poor people from doing crime.

100% logos.. I remember a country put speeding tickets based on your net worth. Some hockey player got an insanely high ticket. Bill gates and any billionaire losses money if thry stopped to pick up a thousand dollars.

The fact bill gates that fucking ugly weak nerd has so much power and influence based on fake jew dollars is the problem. Just imagine you and 20 other people are stranded on an island with Bill gates and you all 100% know you won't ever leave what value does he have? Fucking none. Nothing he never has and never will he has always been a loser a thief! I think that's why he hates humanity

[–] 1 pt

I don't know how well that scales. Should those on welfare get 0 dollar tickets? Should someone who works 100 hours a week get the same ticket as someone who works 10 hours a week, if they have the same net worth? How do you take into account old people who need to have a high net worth so they can live indefinitely off of investments?

[–] 1 pt

Socialists never cared about the nuance of progressive ticketing, just the money

[–] 0 pt

As far as I can tell. socialists want to make it all about how much money you MAKE. This comment about net worth is the first I've heard of it. Socialists do this a lot because the people they hate the most are people who actually work as opposed to people who just have money. A lot of people who just have money are socialists. If that makes any sense.

[–] 0 pt

Make the ticket based on how much you make in the next week.

A rich guy can take the week off, and think about what he's done. The rich anti-gov guy will take the week off, or work under the table. The statist will keep working.

The poor guy works paycheck to paycheck. Doesn't have a choice, has to work through the week, and give up his 10%.

[–] 1 pt

No offense, but I'm not sure how that makes things fairer. I think, um, fines are just stupid. Unless it's restitution for something you can actually make up for like littering. Otherwise it's just revenuing. If it's bad enough throw somebody in jail for a weekend or make them do community service.
