Don't need to. Been staring at that shit for a month. Just pulled the trigger.

clubsport 2.5 wheelbase

wrc rim

loadcell 3 pedals with the hydraulic dampener

clubsport shifter and handbrake...

Damn. Pics I need them. I want to bask in the glory.

I will take a picture when it is all "done"... setting up simhub today and looking at gauges and whatnot. also to control my buttkicker2 inducer.

So the price can go up more? I've been looking for a HOTAS setup for fucking months but no fucking way I'm paying 1.5 hi-points for one when they used to be half a hi-point.

You can get away with a lot less. I went just below full retard with the idea if I want to move to direct drive later it would just be a new wheel base. This will be 50x better than my logitech setup I currently have and cheaper than getting back into scca rally by far.

Ha! Not now you can't. Also not after the biden bucks. I'll either have to bite the bullet and pay too much or wait for the market to stop being crazy.

You spent 1700 dollars (debt slips) on video game things ? hahahahahaha

Debt slips? Haha.

The fucking things legit say "federal note" on them. Nothing on them says "money". Nothing.

It is like 2/3 of a weeks pay. Get fuckt m8.

An ounce of gold with a $38 premium?

What am I looking at here?

Just blew money on a wheel/pedal/shifter/handbrake combo from Fanatec. Could have been way worse if my wife didn't reign me in a tad.

Ouch. I spent $15 on a Logitech wheel/pedals at a pawn shop some years ago. It was nice for truck simulator games.

Are these steering wheel bases suppose to be strong enough to rip the wheel out of your hand when you wreck? I'd assume you play rally games since you got a hand brake?

I got the clubsport 2.5 that is dual motor dual belt drive, but yes you can suffer wrist/finger damage on the direct drive models. They deliver an obscene amount of maximum torque. They deliver upwards of 20nm of torque or something like that.

Even with a lesser model, I would definitely recommend attaching the wheel to something. It's not the kind of thing you put in your lap generally. One of the reasons I'm not using mine right now. I had a decent setup and then I broke it down when I moved, and I've been to lazy to go set it up again just to play a game.
