I don't play new gen games. They have amazing graphics, but I get tired playing them because they are not relaxing. There are only three new gen games I really like, Lost Planet and Gears Of War 2. I don't really care about the single player, but the online multiplayer are both lots of fun. For the single player I like a lot Uncharted. That's it.

Anyway, I still prefer old school 16 Bit platformers / isometric shooters, like True Lies, Robocop Vs Terminator, Demolition Man, Cannon Fodder, and Syndicate. There is also the relatively new Bro Force, that is a lot of fun.

I bust out Smash TV with my boy now and again. He seems to enjoy the twin stick dynamic. We've also been messing a bit with the light gun style games on the wii. The old Capcom beat'em ups as well.

Theres a medal of honor GBA top down game that was crazy fun. It is unfortunate its gameplay elements were not adopted in other games and IPs

Bro Force is one of my favorite 2D games of all time.

Yeah, RvT is a great game... Nice graphics and sound (surprisingly bloody for the time), good gameplay with lots of weapons, loads of secrets to discover. Still play it from time to time and would recommend it without hesitation.
