Most responses in recent years there are chock full of people flaming the threads. Very few comments get removed when reported as well. I mean there are clearly people going into threads, changing the topic, whining, bitching, filling it with low-information comments.

So basically like the old days of the internet. Horseshoe theory: Overregulation and underregulation of speech leads to the same outcome.

The problem with both circumstances is they take place in centralized, crowded forums. Solution: find a more niche place to discuss gaming. Here might work since the community is small and most of us agree how much of a pain in the ass mainstream communication spaces are.

Side note: It is fitting to see the steam forums observe the same level of care and moderation as the steam platform these days.
