Most responses in recent years there are chock full of people flaming the threads. Very few comments get removed when reported as well. I mean there are clearly people going into threads, changing the topic, whining, bitching, filling it with low-information comments.

Never thought it would be on that level, but now I think you're right. Even some mild criticism gets lots of flack there and it's probably shills gatekeeping. Had some experience there with some timid shit but they overplayed their hands with how hard they hit back.
