Most responses in recent years there are chock full of people flaming the threads. Very few comments get removed when reported as well. I mean there are clearly people going into threads, changing the topic, whining, bitching, filling it with low-information comments.

anything criticizing a game definitely catches flak and not even a little. the bizarre shit that people say in those threads to try and derail it... actually I don't even think someone them are trying to derail it - they're simply grossly misinterpreting the meaning of the thread.

I see, yeah, could be some disinfo. I'm sure devs go in and sort of defend their games, perhaps by attacking critics.
