Again, this isn't about who's hosting your marketing materials. Google has a monopoly on Android app publishing through the Play store, unless you're Epic Games no one will buy/install your .apk's manually.

I've watched it happen every step of the way and never understood why people would trust them. Some people were even more deluded in thinking they were some how sticking it to Microsoft by pushing Google.

At least Outlook or Windows Mail back everything up for me offline.

Just look at those stupid Chrome Books and all the so called nerds who promoted them to everyone and bought them for parents & grandparents. The amount of times I've had to point out that they basically turned over their family's banking and medical history to Google and the Governments they work with still blows my mind.

Same shit with installing Chrome and Google's Desktop search into your computer. Fucking morons out there.
