Its funny because I have been going backwards. I started out gaming on a high end 1080ti/3700x gaming PC a couple years ago. Then I started fucking around with ps4 and psvr. Also oculus Quest vr. Now I have settled into ps3 and original xbox. By a HUGE margin I enjoy 6th and 7th gen gaming the best. Games seem better quality. More creative, better stories and the graphics are still great. I can also buy games all day for a buck. So my friends I guess I'm a retro gamer.

I used to game exclusively on PC and then got a console to play with a few friends. Since then, I only game on console. There is just too much hassle gaming on PC, and console is good enough. It's about the fun not the graphics, right?

Modern games lack the soul that older games used to have to make up for the lack of graphics and content. Couple that with the decline of society, and modern games are great looking piles of trash. I'm still angry about Last of Us II.

Yep, I'm just going to stay in the 7th gen. There are a lifetime of games for me to play.
