... then I do NOT suggest you play Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Riding a horse around and going hunting in that game is really detailed and fun, but if you don't like spending 10-15 mins riding between locations, it's definitely not for you.

10-15 mins riding between locations, it's definitely not for you.

In GTA they filled the rides with interesting dialog... they needed to do something like that in RDR2, and they even fucked up the ones they did do like that by dumping your ass off after the mission in the middle of effing nowhere!!! The grizzly bear hunting mission dumped me off in a part of the map that did not show it's explored connection to the rest of the map, and the stupid hunting map that i got (that for SOME reason is viewed from the SHITTY inventory system) didn't appear useful in the slightest!!! omg it's all coming back to me. the rage is setting back in.

see, these problems with the game have nothing to do with skill. these are problems that shouldn't even exist with menu systems or maps, and the game just dumps the player in the middle of a situation where it's like "wtf happened? is this a glitch? why does the main map look like i teleported into an unexplored part of the map, and why the hell is this other map in my inventory and why doesn't it show anything useful? it doesn't appear to match up with the original map!?"

Oh, that whole part is sort of a mess, for sure. I do remember myself as well, even with the snowy beginning area, felling like that its possible that this little map area isn't even in the actual following game, but is is, and you can travel back there, but it feels completely detached from the rest of the game and as if you're not supposed to even go back there. And I do recall that early hunting scene feels very similar, as if it's a map unto itself. It was not a good feel and yea, the map issue is very clunky.
