I wish I could recall all of the little things, but I just got out of a car after a shoot out, and when Trevor closed the door the window broke the rest of the way and shattered all over the ground. It was funny to hear silence after a shootout, then get out of the car, hear the door slam, and an instant afterwards the glass breaks and makes that tinking noise all the way to the ground while I'm I'm walking away immediately.

Then there are the times where you go to jump over something and your character hits the wall/fence/whatever in the most derpy way and falls down. It's especially funny when the game is telling you to do something, like jump over a fence in a hurried situation and that happens. I mean, did they somehow plan for these things when coding the game? Seems like a lot of factors that need to line up for it.

I'll add to this list as these things happen for documentation purposes. There's either some subtle comedy genius going on here or perhaps something to do more of.

Other details about the game I like (maybe I'll submit this on a GTA forum sometime) - I was in a shootout and the cops showed up and actually shot at the people who were shooting at me. This is something I was wishing for in past GTA games and here it is now. I think this was in GTA SA as well, but I basically played through the story of that and didn't do much extra; hard to tell which elements were scripted that way.

I just got the notification about shooting the handles on the security vans to break open the doors. They showed me this was possible in an earlier mission, however the last GTA game I recall doing things like this was GTA 3, and usually those extra features only worked for missions then they stopped working. I realize now that they were trying to generacize these things and didn't quite get around to adding it to the rest of the game. Nice to see a return of heuristic learning though in video games. GTA has always been pretty good at gradually introducing ideas and new features in their games though (RDR2 is a trash video game; 4.5/10)

It's nice how the police don't always run exactly to your location no matter how well you're hidden. They have to see you and track you.

It's all completely intentional. Look at all the product names. Things like Pisswasser, Gruppe Six (Pronounced Sex,) The fact that the game seems to deliberately put you in the path of your own destroyed vehicle when it respawns you. Go and shoot Micheal's house with rockets, he'll call you and scream "Stop shooting rockets at my house!"

The whole game has a dark comedy undertone that fits well with the crime element storyline.

This isn't the humor I'm talking about. This stuff is funny but not so subtle, even though you can completely ignore it.

I like when I hijacked his wife's car or whoever's car that was, and he texted me saying "[her] car is missing from the driveway. not cool." All those small things are just neat and go a long way to make the world seem real.

Another small thing I liked was when I needed to get a garbage truck, and it was on the side of the road picking up trash from people's houses.

It is a very immersive experience. Every time I play it I see something else that's one of those "Ffffffuuuuuu" moments as I realize the humor behind it.
