its never going to work, Linux has problems like all OS and Steam's version of linux OS was a big failure. Also stop supporting Valve being the only way to play games on Linux it is not how Linux should be build for games. You and many others are supporting a company that once never had refunds until AU made them, hates the idea of sharing games, sells personal info and many crimes in EU.

Linux has a different set of problems, most of them are deal breakers but most fanboys don't want to admit that, driver issues are attributed to game bugs, etc. There's too much useless differences between distro's and is generally unstable in the long run.
