I understand liking the cyberpunk setting and I will even grant that the world-building is pretty strong, but I don't think this game is anything like GTA except in some superficial ways. In GTA 3, which is a 20 year old game, the NPC interactions are more varied and fun. You can rob stores at gunpoint in GTA. When you punch a civilian in GTA, they might run, they might start fighting back, they might pull out a gun or a knife, or they might be in a gang and have other members join in. NPCs in Cyberpunk are super limited. Hit a civilian and they will run screaming or cower. That's it. No fun, interesting reactions. If the person you hit is a designated bad guy, they will fight you to the death every time. It is boring and monotonous. You can't rob people or stores. The enemy AI is terrible. There are 2 enemy strategies: take cover in one spot and never move, or charge the player and die, shouting the same 4 recycled voice lines all the way. Games should be well beyond this. F.E.A.R., which is 15 years old, has enemies call out your position and flank you. They lay down suppressing fire for each other when they advance. Tarkov has enemies move from cover to cover to circle around you. Same with ARMA. The story characters are annoying cunts and you can't kill them. The Outer Worlds is a shit game where every NPC is an ugly dyke with an SJW haircut. At least that game lets you shoot them. Taking out your minigun and putting 50 rounds into the face of some aggressive bitch who was just laying into you for no reason is at least cathartic. V just has to sit there and take it. The driving sucks. It is like driving on ice with buttered up tires. Couple this with shitty driving AI and pedestrians who freak out when you park on the same block as them and it becomes immersion breaking and tedious. The interface and fixed controls suck ass. Double Alt to holster your weapon and you can't rebind it? Fuck me. I didn't even talk about the bugs yet, and I played on PC as well. Visual bugs, AI fuck ups, falling through the world, crafting can break your save file. Even if the game launched bug free, it would still be a shit game. The cherry on top is all of the SJW shit.
