To be fair, I rarely get into games as much as I did in my teens, and I try to take that into account when I play these games. Which is how I came to the conclusion that there are clearly addicts out there, and there are people who have no choice but to say they like games, because that's all their life will ever be.
Good point. I wanted to like these games. I wish I could enjoy them like I used too. How much of that is getting older and how much of that is the games being shit?

I think the extent of age's effect, is that children are not only experiencing the game for the first time, but everything else. Not sure thst can be done as an adult, which is why i try to channel my inner child sometimes when playing.
But some of these games are just shit. Rdr2.... How does it have all those problems? I made a post in this subpoal about it. Half these new games don't even seem finished. Hell, dark souls seems like an experimental, unfinished game with random bullshit everywhere. Random characters, enemies, environments, generic armor, blah! That game just wastes the player's time, then people say it's hard. Binding of Isaac sucked
