Even if everyone got their refund (which I doubt) they still got million of pre-orders (ie. interest free loans) based on lies, it's also unfair to competitors, e.g. EA could outspend smaller studios with bullshit marketing which leads to less people would buying the "inferior" product. EA could take a reputational hit as long as long as it's reducing competition.

that makes no sense, it wasnt about preorders and its not like other companys have done it, Activation, EA, Valve, Ubsoft and Microsoft all have history of releasing glitch/broken games. Nothing has change, no one got the upperhand and no one gain anything. Indie games are also guilty of the same acts, they are often more fill with glitch or soft-lock gameplay, indiegames are no different than AAA.

it wasnt about preorders

it's a publicly traded company, those numbers matter to them.

Activation, EA, Valve, Ubsoft and Microsoft all have history of releasing glitch/broken games

cyberpunk has to be the biggest fuckup, i can't even think of another release that comes close, like half the content is cut and is unplayable on console.

Indie games are also guilty of the same acts

two wrongs don't make a right

You are hating CDPR too much and still making no sense, EA biggest mistake was Star-wars which had them investigated for gambling and even effected Valve. Today it is still a major problem since many countrys have now started banning lootbox or reword it to make it into a gambling legal definition. EA ruin everything that was not well known to many governments.

Activation mistake is helping to create the video game crash of 1983, they kill themselves by doing too many games and then sold themselves to Blizzard.

Valve lying to Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, this made many governments including UK and EU to consider if Valve is breaking more laws like FR software ownership laws and others. Valve software steam could get banned, its an effect that could harm many developers.

Ubsoft always releases glitch or broken games, they always copy and paste the same missions on their games, etc. They are the Fifa of shooter games, same missions, same enemys, same gameplay.

As for Microsoft, their mistake is Windows store, it clearly did not make any changes, even software that work for Windows store do not work. There is also their constant problems with each OS, currently todays window 10 is being hated by everyone.

The only time CDPR made a huge mistake was making White Wolf, it made CDPR go into bankruptcy and was the reason they had to go into a legal contract for stock trading. This in turn cause them to work on a new game call Cyberpunk 2077.

Looking at this, you can see that CDPR mistake is small compare to other companys.
