Give it a few months. I made the mistake of buying the PS3 early. It took years for good games to come out.
You say that, but those early PS3s made killer George Foreman grills.
Yeah I miss that machine. I sold it on ebay when it started crapping out on me. I had to take it apart twice and take a heat gun to the cpu to 'reflow' the shitty lead free solder they used to build with. Got some decent cash for it even though it was dying.
I still use my ps3 ultra slim as a streaming box. It's kinda slow but does the job.
It's a shame about the solder problems on them, because otherwise they were the most capable version. Yeah, heat gunning or stuffing the boards into the oven is only a temporary fix; the reflowed solder always cracks.
One of my friends had a big solder station in his shop and used to completely reball the chips as an ebay service. I helped a few times and goddamn it's a pain.
