I 100 percented Demon's Souls, the rest I played less of because while they work to refine the concepts of gameplay, they are not each a fundamental change to the series that brings it to a new level. I never even partook of the multiplayer, not once. I don't like multiplayer gaming so it left me disinterested in the PvP aspect which many of the more hardcore players latch onto.
I would not trust Steam to show just how interested in a game people are, as many who buy games, especially on Steam, never really play them at all. I would say the better way to gage how engaged a player base got with a game would be to see how many people got the first achievement that also completed the game. I know many games that people picked up in sales and bundles are great games, but not getting the playthrough numbers that would illustrate that to the casual eye.
