You have to like grand strategy games, it's very slow and complex, but it can be fun to think up new strategies and take over the world.
I can’t remember the name of the game(I’m old) but back in the mid 90’s they had a Viking game somewhat like that where you tried to conquer the known world back then.
You had to build you’re fleet, food for your army, drop them off to save food, pick them back up to take over towns, countries and monasteries.
It took me two or three months to get it done unfortunately the gave had a bug and the final monastery or town wasn’t in the game so you could never conquer the world. Which was rather disappointing at the time after investing all that time.
It was my 4 month unemployment break from the military to the civilian world. The only time since I was 12 I didn’t have a job and I played a broken game lol.
Sounds cool, too bad you don't know the name. Might be more fun than the crap that's out these days.
It was, it was like when doom first came out, goldeneye, CS(in the beginning) world of Warcraft 1and 2, heroes of might and magic.
I still have warcraft and heroes burned as iso files and load them up once in awhile.
I think it was hammer of the gods but I don’t remember being able to pick a race or getting mission from the gods but it’s 25 years. I’ll ask my brother he’ll remember.
