Any games like Day of Defeat: Source? I don’t like any of the new WW2 games that are out.

Cyberpunk is buggy and runs like ass on any non-high-tier rig. It's also half the size of Witcher 3. But if you do have a high end rig it's still worth the money.*

*If they release obviously missing content as a for-pay DLC that goes out the window.

Speaking of which, Witcher 3 is still awesome.

With mods TESV is The Best eroge available anywhere, far outpacing all competition.

The new Master of Orion is well worth it. (not MOO 3)

Doom and Cuphead of course.

The new edition of Civ 6 totally rocks. They did EVERYTHING right.

Cyberpunk glorifies tranny faggots.

[–] 2 pts

Showing a universe where they exist and are advertised at is not glorifying them.

[–] 0 pt

It depends on how they're portrayed. GTA V had trans fags but they were being mocked.

Acknowledging their existence and role playing as one of them is enough. Fuck that

Immortals Fenyx Rising seems to be the sleeper hit this year because it was released a week before the eagerly anticipated Cyberpunk and didn't have any issues. It's like God of War meets Assassin' s Creed.

Isnt that cyberpunk game the one with racemixing, trannys and degeneracy everywhere made by a bunch of shitskins and kikes? Everyone who was a part of making that game needs to be thrown into a pit and burned alive. I’ve seen the nigger male on white female posters and shit from that filth.

Ehh I didn’t get hyped up by cyberpunk because it reeks of degeneracy in every aspect. Doom was really fun to play through. I’ve heard of Civ 6 but haven’t seen anything about it, is it like the total war games?

Bf1942 is similar, except you can also drive vehicles such as planes boats cars submarines and shit

I prefer the desert combat mod version final, than the original game personally

That looks fun as hell, I might have to give that a try.

I find the original version (the one taking place in 1942) too "slow" regarding action and guns in general, that are rather lame, exactly like they used to be. But I also remember a lot of people who loved that game precisely because of that, so it depends what kind of player you are

Now the desertcombat mod is one of the best I've ever played, it's pretty fast action, tons of fun guns and modern vehicles and it's not TOO realistic as in everything is a pain in the ass to just take off), it's the ancestor of BF2, the original BF2 (which I find boring in comparison)

Now the problem, is that I don't think there are a ton of people still playing that game, but there still are, mostly for the 1942 version btw

What else? Ah yeah, if you install the desert combat mod, you need to install the 0.7 version first, and the "final" version on top of it

And patches for the original game, as usual

It also features a solo campaign mode so you aren't forced to play online or nothing, but the AI isn't what we have today, that's for sure

I think I’ll try the solo campaign mode, I like doing the campaigns before playing multiplayer. I liked BF2-4 I just can’t take BFV with how stupid it looks.

Red Orchestra 2 while a bit dated still has an active community, though you might have to choose when you play. It is still the best FPS to date, it strives for hardcore realism.

And you get to play as Nazis.

Oh I love Red Orchestra 2, I’ve leveled just about every damn class on Axis, haven’t played a single minute of the soviets though lol.

7 Days to Die is pretty good, easy server management and creation too. Very good admin tools. Linux/Win. Played on a server that had custom battle content from WW1, trench warfare, was pretty fun.

I’ll check it out, thanks.

Bannerlord is worth checking out, but I wouldn't pay for it. ~8 fucking years- and they put out a half finished game where the main quest is broken- especially if you don't want to follow the suggested path of being a bitch for another king, etc. Even the basic battle command acks are all fucked up. You call cavalry and it says "infantry", etc. Ridiculous. And they pozzed out and made half of the "warlords" teenage girls. All that being said - the graphics are really nice though- especially if you are used to Warband. And it's a good stress reliever to cut down a bunch of shitheads with your trust Double Handed Axe. Would be epic if someone put out a mod that skinned the "Looters" as actual modern day nigger looters.

Terminator: Resistance is decent, but with a big IF you are a fan of the first 2 movies.

The premise is you are in the dark future shown in 2 minutes of the 2nd film. The game is a fallout 3 style scavenger with less RPG and more FPS. the best weapons, ammo, and mods in the game are dropped by the tin cans.

A free dlc was also released for this game recently, a single infiltrator mission where you play as a terminator and wreck everyone in your path.

I haven't played it but someone I know swears be Red Orchestra 2

Deadside is pretty fun. Similar to Dayz but not as survival oriented and it's not full of bugs like dayz. I'd suggest playing with someone else, makes it more fun.

It looks fun as hell but jeez I don’t know if my pc would even be able to run it without starting on fire.

I ran it fine on my old rig: amd fx-6350 and a r9 390x. My buddy ran it with the same except he had a r9 380x or 280x

[–] 0 pt

I didn’t know it would run on these old machines, I built mine in 2014 and need to update it one of these days.

I have the r9 290x and the amd fx 8350 black edition.

I just checked the bench marks I would’ve thought the 380x from 2015 would trounce a 290x from 2013 but I guess not.

I’ll give it’s try, thanks.

Quake Champions if you want ultra competitive arena fps with beautiful graphics and characters with lots of depth. Also free to play.

Going to take a look, thanks.

I enjoy HOI4, it's one of the few games I keep coming back to.

Just finished conquering all of Asia as Austria-Hungary.

[–] 1 pt

How long did that take?

1943

I merged with Austria and Bohemia, then took out Yugo and Bulgaria by 1938, then when Germany declared on Russia in 39 I swept through and took most of their land. I built up my army and got the start of a navy. Then Japs declared on my puppet Malaysia (Netherlands and Poland joined Comintern), in late 41 so I crushed them, then swooped in for China because they took most of my Jap land in the peace deal.

Now I'm trying to take out US and UK fleets without help from the axis. I just ran into the US carrier fleet in the British Channel and they sank a ship, my first naval loss of the game. Kind of disappointing, but my 20 ship fleet struggles against 4 carriers, 12 capitals and 60 screens without air support. I think I'm going to have to join the axis so I can use their airbases and invade the UK from northern France instead of trying to launch my invasion from Gibraltar.

Austria-Hungary is way more fun than playing a major. I've been struggling with manpower the whole game and you start landlocked so you don't have a navy. As Germany you can sweep through everyone with 40 width tank divisions and cheese OP Sealion with your crappy fleet. I still only have 10 tank divisions and have to use under equipped divisions with obsolete rifles to garrison my ports.

That sounds like a fun game, I’m going to have to get it.
