Having some issues with bugs. The VR crashes. Also the one of the commands needed in game to view your star fighter load out is also the same that trigger the Steam VR overlay (not good). I also got stuck in a softlock situation in the campaign .
The graphics in VR are a bit disappointing. Idk if they engineered it so the software is able to run on both PC and PlayStation VR, not allowing PC users to make full use of their hardware. I must say the graphics for Half Life Alyx, looks much better. The graphics on my 1440p monitor look good.
I started messing around with the 5v5 multiplayer fleet battles. I have a feeling this is where the game will really shine.
Back to the VR. Even though the graphics quality are not what I would like it is still fun (when it is not crashing). The ability to move your head around in the cockpit and see where the Tie Fighter is that just buzzed by you is neat. "Sitting" in the cockpit is great immersion. I bet it would be even cooler if you had a flight stick.
*Update
Game has been patched and the softlock issue is fixed!
Hopefully the VR will be more stable too.
