Similar to the Russian guy that did not obey the rules for the forums and reviews, you can be banned when you abuse the system. In both cases, OAG (whom DS cites) did not bring forth compelling evidence that no wrong was done by those banned. If Valve was banning people for 'leaving negative reviews' wholesale, the BLM game would not still have a 'mostly negative' review rating. So, show me what the dude-in-question's review was and I'll consider changing my opinion of the matter to corporate abuse. I leave rather antagonizing reviews about shitty games all the time and have yet to be banned - because I operate within the guidelines of the platform. edit: also, it seems that as of 7/25/2020, the original OAG article was updated. That banned user has had his full account re-instated after additional review.
