I've heard nothing but good things about it, just wondering if it's worth the $400 price tag?

Nah. I don't buy Facebook crap.

Yes. If you like small arcade/party games for $400 then it's a good buy. Games like Beat Saber, RoboRecall, SuperHot VR, etc.

If you want to use it for anything else, its a waste of money.

The reviews all say it's just as good as the rift s when being used with a PC. Some say it's better. Am I missing something?

It's much worse. Those reviews are bullshit. I've had a Rift S and used the Quest hooked up to a PC in multiple configs. It's shit.

I've watched quite a few reviews from reputable PC YouTubers and they pretty much all say it's almost identical to the rift s when being used with the PC. This is how I became interested in it in the first place. What exactly is the difference or problem with it? Telling me that sucks really isn't giving me any information.

I'd be interested if it wasn't being made by Faceberg. I refuse to give them any money. I am surprised they have no competetion yet. Nothing even being developed that I am aware of.

Leveno has one similar to the Quest

More like similar to the Go.

With the new link capabilities you can use it as basically a rift and a quest... Meaning PC VR and portable... So you can play HL Alyx for instance.
