That's a pretty nice monitor, so I can appreciate why it's been hard to come by. I think my next one will be a Samsung QLED unless microLED ones drop in a reasonable price range. I've always heard that the higher res monitors have blurriness if you lower the resolution from native. I had to down-res my PS3 from 1080p to 720p in the past and never noticed that big of a quality hit. Maybe it's more pronounced the higher the pixel density, though?

I currently have a nice Asus 1080p 144 hz monitor. I was thinking about gifting it to my son if I get a new one, but I could always be greedy and keep it if I see a problem with that.
