Great game. I am thoroughly impressed with the VR experience and the Valve Index. The 3D combat is intense, exhilarating, and frighting at times. The interaction with and quality of the environment, also top notch. I enjoyed the story. The last level was abstract and wonderful. I felt like the Beatles #9 but a video game. Some people have faulted the voice acting and script of Alyx and while I can see where they are coming from, I cannot fault this. Technically perhaps the game could be optimized more. I am running a R7 3800x, 2080s, with 32 GB of RAM. I did experience some choppiness at time. In fact I upgraded from 16 GB of RAM to the 32 to try and solve this issue but at a few points it was still noticeable. Now I'm left with, what is next? I hope to see some new VR games that can ride Alyx's coattails. *edit It wasn't that hard either. I picked the most difficult settings and there was plenty of health and ammo.
