Currently the server is set to allow players who don't legally own the game, so if you just want to hop in and try it out without purchasing the game you can get it at or .
Since the version provided in the links above is 0.18.15, if you currently own the game you will have to use Steams 'Beta program' to install that version. Also no mods at this point for ease of use for new player.
