I'd respect their decision to support their own communities but this is just retarded. A shit dev has to get into the news somehow I guess.
Oh, it's the same idiots that pulled their product from a cloud service that had nothing to do with losing them sales. Hopefully no one buys their retarded walking simulator game and they continue to fade into obscurity.
Yeah, they're the same ones. I don't care that they pulled it but maybe they shouldn't have put it there in the first place. I've played their game and found it a good experience but someone along the way drove the train off the tracks and turned something good into a never ending, literally, dev project. Whoever was put in charge of the story and episodic release schedule shouldn't be in the profession that they are in.

All GeForce Now (or whatever the name is) does is let you install games you already own on a remote system to stream to some other hardware. The devs confused it for Stadia's model, which is like buying the game and service all rolled into one. All they did with that move was hurt their fans that already bought it and would want to play it.
Sucks about the game getting derailed and piecemeal'ed to hell, though.
Ah, gotcha. Haven't dealt with the Go service. It does sound pretty innocent but Hinterland doesn't even have their crap on gog so they've already shown that their head is in a different space.
It was a great concept for a game but they blew a lot of good will.
