My Index headset arrived Friday. The Half-Life Alyx preview content is an amazing environment. Sure it looked cool on YouTube videos, but when I was actually immersed into it, it is a whole new level.

"The Lab" which is pretty much a fun lobby area that lets you access mini-games is a total blast too. The space ship and bow games are so much fun.

I tried Pavlov and seems like it would be fun, but I ended up getting a refund. I could not play it without terrible motion sickness. I'm afraid I might have that problem with games that have you walk vs teleport.

One downside with the Index is the controllers are not wireless. I did not realize this when I bought it. It is still playable of course, but it would be much better if you didn't have to worry about the wires. The headset, which I knew going in was wired, is not an issue. I don't notice that wire at all.

From what I've heard the PSVR has one of the best screens in a VR headset. Sure it's only 1080p, but whatever Sony did they nailed it.

It does. It has a OLED RGB screen which has three subpixel per pixel. Most other headsets have pentile displays which means each pixel is just one pixel. In reality psvr actually has a higher pixel count than most other headsets. This is why the psvr has the least amount of screen door effect out of every single headset on the market. They did an excellent job on designing that unit.
