If I ever went that far, I would DIY for sure. Fuck spending that kind if cash.

Yeah, that is nuts. I have seen full hydraulic DIY rigs for 5,000 or so. Like full tilt everything mounted to a plate (chair/pedals/wheel/monitors) that actuates according to usb hid input.
