I have not tried another system. I've been on the sidelines as the reviews and quality/customer service of existing sets didn't give me much confidence. So I decided to wait until the 2nd generation of headsets came out. The Index fits that bill for me. Almost all of the reviews have been good. I'm not happy about how much they want for it, but I rarely treat myself to purchases, so heck with it. I just decided to do it.
