Sometimes, modding a game elegantly can lead to an immense improvement in the experience. I recently gave Kingdom Come: Deliverance a try after it was free on EGS. The game has a horrid save system, relying on in-game items that you may or may not run across to save. I downloaded two mods, the other for unlimited inventory weight because I hate managing that stuff, and both clocked in at a reasonable 10 kB.

Modding Morrowind the last time I played it was also quite enjoyable. Fan bug fixes and patches, the graphics extender that allows for higher resolutions and better performance on modern systems, and the 'always hit' mod for combat all managed to vastly improve my experience for a mere 20 MB.

Are there any other really lightweight mods that you're impressed how much that can spruce up a game's playability or enjoyment without downloading GB worth of new content?
