I didn't hate it; just the ending. I had someone try to tell me I was wrong in my opinion because Fallout 3 ruined the super mutants lore. I had never been able to run Fallout 2 without severe issues, so he linked the speech from Marcus about how the super mutants were just misunderstood; that Communism through the Master was really the next stage of human evolution! I guess he couldn't understand that convergent evolution (or whatever, if it was FEV-induced, different mutagenesis) produced different types of super mutants on the West and East coasts of the country.
Also, now that Tale of Two Wastelands has been completed for awhile, I can have the best of both worlds.
I haven't followed mod development for NV or 3 in a long time. I had no clue that that mod even existed that combines both games. Thanks for posting about it. I'll have to give it a go.
