I resubbed for a bit to give them a chance since I did like WoW classic, and I won't lie, I did have a month or two of fun... however, as soon as they updated guards to what they weren't in vanilla just to appease whiners, I knew they were not taking the "as it was, flaws and all" rhetoric the spewed seriously, and I jumped ship. This only solidifies that thought process.
I was really jonesing for old WoW again myself, but dragged my feet on resubbing. A friend of mine joined right up and didn't have too much to say. I asked him about it not too long ago and he pretty much corroborated your report completely so I just didn't bother at all.
I'm also a little curious about the new stuff, but it's just not worth all the trouble and effort and I have better things to occupy my time now.
