If I wanted to cheat I would just edit the save and not risk crashes from some mod.

I'm just playing with you. But cheat engine is a great application. Lets you search for numbers, find them and edit them. Works on any program, not a mod specifically. (forgive the yt link)

I've heard of it before now that I think about it, but I've never looked to deeply into it. Is it just a hex editor specifically for finding meaningful values for games? Out and about, cant check it out until later.
